We’re Pregnant and Worried About Finances
If you’re pregnant and didn’t expect to be, you may be asking yourself? "How will we afford a baby?!". Financial concerns often weigh heavily on us. Raising a child is a big responsibility for sure. Some women and men think “Abortion is my best option, because I just can’t provide for a kid right now...”
When we work with women and men at Parkridge, we are committed to listening first to all the concerns, thoughts and feelings about this pregnancy. Then, we are committed to connecting our patients to resources that can support them in their choices.
So, what ARE some resources for financial support through pregnancy and parenting?
Here are some Resources on our List:
Pregnancy Medicaid -
Health coverage for women in pregnancy and postpartum. Covered services can include prenatal doctor visits, prenatal vitamins, labor and delivery, checkups and other benefits for baby after leaving the hospital. Click here to learn more about Medicaid.
